WELL, AS OF THIS WEEK, THE COMPANY BEHIND THOSE IMAGES, IF NOT SPECIFICALLY, THEN BY VIRTUE OF MECHANISM, THE INDELIBLY ETCHED IMAGES WE HOLD IN OUR HEARTS AND THE LITTLE BOX BROWNIE OF OUR MINDS EYES IS PRETTY MUCH FINITO . . . NO MORE OF LIFES LITTLE KODAK MOMENTS.
THE IRONY IS THAT THEY INVENTED THE DIGITAL CAMERA THAT HAS NOW MADE THE REQUIREMENT FOR OLD FASHIONED FILM REDUNDENT . . . BUT THAT'S A WHOLE OTHER BUNCH OF CORPORATE SHORT SIGHTEDNESS . . . .
Which leads me to this . . . I hate Paul "Musical Soppy Beige" Simon, hate, get it ?? However, in honour of the demise of Kodak as a brand and "film" as a 100 year old medium, there is one Paul Simon ditty that now seems somehow poignant and below this very line you will find it by clicking on the link
