THE TATTS . . . . THE ORIGINAL LINEUP, WIND IT UP TO TEN AND DROP THE CLUTCH !!!!
My first band, a psychobilly outfit called "The Ballistics" ['82 - '85], supported the Tatts once at Bombay Rock on the Gold Coast . . . what a fucking gig . . . however, the most memorable part was watching Angry and Pete Wells destroy the band's entire drink rider during one of the most ferocious soundchecks I ever witnessed !!!
They were at one point alledged to be the loudest band in the world, not sure if Lemmy would agree, and they were certainly a fantastic act to see live . . . they got banned from 'Countdown' for a bit of "man pashing" at about the time they released this, their first national single . . . . . Bad Boys for Love indeed !!!!

WINE OF THE WEEK, 2009 CRAGGY RANGE "LE SOL", HAWKES BAY, SYRAH, N.Z - absofuckinglutely sex in a bottle, cool climate shiraz at it's best, a nose that really delivers the often non existent peppery notes so many others claim, along with dark berry fruits, spice and a bee's dick of oak then the palate is a genuine mouthfuck of fine tannis, ripe fruit, cracked pepper, lively acid, a poofteenth of judiciously intergrated oak and a length and finish that go on forever . . . not cheap but worth killing, lying, cheating and stealing for !!!
