CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG ON THIS, BUT IN SOME WAYS THE SWEDISH 'STYLE' OF CHOP FROM THE NINETIES ALMOST PRESAGED THE RETURN OF THE CLASSIC 'LONG BIKE' . . . . EVEN GOING BACK ANOTHER TEN YEARS BEFORE THIS WAS SHOT, THE SWEDES SEEM TO HAVE HAD A LONG BIKE LOVE AFFAIR AND THERE ARE SOME EXCELLENT EXAMPLES IN THIS VIDEO . . . .
A bunch of cool clips of motors on tables, a dual carb XLCH, a knuckle, big, tough, fat hogs, cool old school stuff, more long, long, long bikes, lots of bikes running big arsed rear rubber, those lowrider inspired 144 spoke jobs . . . . Brit bikes in various configurations, jerry cans as panniers, and a shitload of rides that hold up really well ten years later when so many from that period and earlier often come across as dated and part of a period specific festering fashion flirtation.
**** Kudos and massive thanks to Claus Weiergang for posting this window into our not too distant past on PooTube, cool stuff Claus, appreciated man.
