OH BROTHER, WHERE ART THOU "MAN OF CONSTANT SORROW" . . . . A PIECE OF TRADITIONAL AMERICAN HILLBILLY FOLK GIVEN THE ONCE OVER BY CLOONEY AND PALS IN THIS FUNNIER THAN A REALLY FUNNY THING FLICK . . . . THE CADENCES AND NUANCES OF THIS SPECIFICALLY REGIONAQL MUSICAL STYLE HAVE ALWAYS CAPTIVATED ME . . . . KINDA LIKE 'HAPPY PAIN' . . . .

I used to think George Clooney was just a glamour chump back in the days of that t.v series that propelled him into the broader public eye . . . . however, to be straight up, I now have a whole bunch of time for him as an actor and human being of substance . . . . this was a bloody monster good film, funny as, cool cast and cracker tunes/score, haven't checked it for a while but I'm figurin it'll be just as cool third or fourth time around . . . . anyway, break out the fiddles, hitch up your skirts and enjoy !!!!

"THE SOGGY BOTTOM BOYS" . . . . I WONDER IF THEY WERE ANY RELATION TO ELTON'S "CAPTAIN FANTASTIC AND THE BROWN DIRT COWBOY" . . . . SHEEESH  ????

***** And no, Clooney and Turturro weren't singin . . . . I think it was the legend Bluegrass player and yodeller, Ralph Stanley . . . . if anyone knows otherwise, let me in on it, cheers.
