"ANCHOR MOTORSICKLE" JUST POSTED A CRACKER WEEKLY TOP FIVE . . . . DROVE ME TO GO IN SEARCH OF ONE SONG THAT WAS A WATERMARK FOR THE LATE '80's AND EARLY 90's FOR ME . . . . DRAMARAMA WITH "ANYTHING, ANYTHING".

THERE WAS SUCH A TANGIBLE SENSE OF DESPERATION OOZING FROM THIS INTENSE THREE MINUTE BLAST, MAYBE IT ENCAPSULATED WHERE MY LIFE WAS HEADING TO, AND HOW IT ENDED UP BACK THEN . . . . JUST A FEW NANO RECOLLECTIONS . . . . JULES, T140, WINE, DRUGS, LIVER FAILURE, QUIT THE BAND, FAIL ENTRY TO JAPAN, LONLINESS, 18 MONTHS BOOZE AND DRUG FREE, SEPERATION FROM ALL I'D KNOWN, NEW FRIENDS, DUD FRIENDS, HEAD CHECK, SELF ANALYSIS . . . . DESPERATE TIMES, DIFFERENT MEASURES AND ONE STAND ALONE, FUCKING EXCELLENT SONG . . . . THANKS FOR THE REMINDER ANCHOR MAN . . . . DIG YOUR WORK !!!!

  1. You're something else, man....dunno if we're on the same music-link or what. when I lived in the infamous zone, this was the SHIT! Agent Orange and Dramarama were Rodney on the Roq's daily staples...and FUCK, I LOVED (and still do love) this song!

Another good song from this era is, of course, Million Miles Away by the Plimsouls.

    Carry on, Wildman.

  2. I assume that was Rodney Bingenthinger, apparently his playlist was legendary as was the station, on a world wide basis . . . you've got groovy history behind you Assman, an interesting life in the 'infamous zone' obviously . . . as for the The Plimsouls, what a band, haven't even thought of them in probably twenty plus years, wow, what a flash !! Thanks mate, cheers.
