Caleb 'Cro' Owens is one of my most admired builders of cooler than cool, made to ride, keep it clean custom bikes, and like all the other mega talented dudes on the invited builders list for BF4, he's been slaving away to get the near legendary 'Yang Yang' shovel completed for the big gig . . . . well, looks as though he's done gone and done it, buttoned and bolted, ready to roll.
The shit that always blows my mind with his bikes is the mad attention to micro detail and the absolute focus on 'rideability', its gotta look good but, above that, the thing has to function as a bike designed to be ridden and ridden hard . . . . 'Yang Yang' is clearly a step away from his previous catalogue of dope delights in style, a deliberate attempt to push himself into unchartered waters and out of his own comfort zone, that in itself takes hardcore commitment.
The result is yet again another awesomely sweet ride in a street tracker mould, the sucker is all about business, purpose and function melded into one seamless unit, so many killer one-off components and unique tweaks and twists . . . . motor, trans, frame, bars, pipes, paint, you name it, it's been fondled, fabbed, made and massaged, the very defintion of legit custom building, so together is this jigger it looks like it could've rolled out of the factory just as it is, there just ain't any way that the MoCo design team could ever have come up with something so fucking cool !!!
THING IS, CRO, AND THE BEWDIFUL 'YANG YANG', IS JUST ONE OF THE INSANELY GIFTED CREW OF INVITEES WHO HAVE BEEN FLOGGING THEMSELVES INTO MENTAL MELTDOWN TERRITORY IN THE PURSUIT OF BF4 GLORY AND RECOGNITION, AND FOR ALL THOSE LUCKY BASTARDS ATTENDING THE TWO WHEELED EYE CANDY FEST WILL BE EXTRAORDINARY . . . .
