DEEP IN THE GRIP OF "CONE-SHOVEL MADNESS" . . . . I'M JUST A CREEPIN AND A PEEPIN AND NOT SLEEPIN . . . . DOIN WHAT I USUALLY DO WHEN GETTING A PROJECT TOGETHER IN MY HEAD . . . . SEEKING INSPIRATION FOR WHAT I'M TRYING TO ACHIEVE . . . . SOLIDIFYING LOOSE IDEAS INTO SOMETHING MORE CONCRETE . . . . SOME SUPER SWEET SHOVELS SHOWING SERIOUS STYLE.

Three delicious cone shovels from my last hours worth of interweb infiltration that stood out for various reasons as I bounced from one to the next . . . . there's good to be found in mostly everything if you look hard enough and clear the mind of any pre-existing prejudice.
Above, a recent piece of pristine purple perfection from the Malinky brothers, first, I fucking love the colour purple and the flake is just edible, second, the sissy barette is a complete winner and rocks in league with the height of the bars, third, the pipes are smokin it, tight and tucked and linked to the wild mini mega, the front end is as clean and smooth as a baby's bum and finally, the rear guard is sitting in absolutely perfect concentricity with the radius of the tire/wheel combo . . . . Above, a completely different style of ride but still using the trusty cone shovel as the motorvayshun, the thing that grabbed me about this baby, apart from the gorgeously subtle paint and the overall simplicity of execution, was the way that the front stopper is almost invisible in between the spokes, given that I'm going to run a front brake, it's well noted . . . . the other element that had me from hello is the fact it is one of the very rare 'Invisi Glide' platforms, judging by the total absence of chain in this shot, sorry, couldn't resist, clearly pre completion . . . . Above, the final focus for tonight's lesson session, just a cool lookin choppy/bobby jigger, fork gaiters set off against the seat and kicker pedal, the shape shifting on the rocker covers is really tidy and unique, nice paint, all good . . . . the killer thing with this scoot is the rear fender, the way it's been vacu-sealed onto the rear bag is just stunning, clearance, whatta ya reckon, three fifths of five eighths of fuck all and it looks the fendershizzle with the consistent radius match all the way around . . . . that's how I want mine to to be, super close and completely concentric . . . .   1. third bike for me please whitey, can't beat a 'frisco mounted sporty tank, the fork gaiters are very european, we used to see a lot of that with the swedish, dutch, german and danish bikes that used to go to kent, mid-footpegs instead of forward's? essential on a rigid, you can asume the 'shitting frog' position and take some of the jarring pain that is normally transmitted straight to the cerebal cortex via the spine when you hit a bump, to throw my 'tuppence ha'penny in the mix, i'd extend the pipes about three inches past the back wheel, move the seat back an inch and a half and run it parallel to the bottom frame rail and junk the rear white wall, just saying, nice bike though, very smart.....

Mids are a must Lovey, don't wanna be stretching my freckle, legs and puling back on the bars for every irregularity in the road surface, end up with the grapes of wrath hangin out of the old date like a bunch of shiraz grapes . . . funny thing is though, no sign of mid mount tabs/brackets/boss' on the frame of the shovel, which leads me to explore more fully its lineage . . . still contemplating the pipe dilemma. Your two pence halfpenny's worth is always welcome my sweet. XX
