YOU KNOW THOSE NIGHTS WHERE YOU'RE AMONG GREAT FRIENDS . . . . WHEN THOUGHTS OF TAINTING THE OCCASION BY THE INTRODUCTION OF EXCESSIVE INTAKE OF BEER, WINE AND PARTY DELIGHTS WOULD BE VULGAR AND DEMEANING OF THE EVENING'S AMBIENCE . . . . LAST NIGHT JUST WASN'T ONE OF THOSE INSTANCES AT ALL . . . . CHOOK'S '64 GALAXIE 500 COUPE, BOG STOCK AND READY TO ROCK !!!!

  1. Ah, the 'Galaxie-class' starship...one of my favorites. Cars from that era take me back everytime. A friend of mine was lucky enough to know someone who worked at a Ford dealership. He would give him model cars supplied to the dealers. They were usually molded in odd colors, but were highly detailed and had wheels that spun on steel axles. On the bottom they were imprinted with the specs for the year of the model. We'd play with those cars and read all the specs for hours...

    1. Unreal mate, what a special treat that would've been, wonder if he still has them, rare as hens' teeth I should imagine . . . they were a fave big Blue Oval model of mine too, they did super well in Nascar piloted by many of the legend drivers of the day, the coupe is just a design classic.
