CULMINATING IN HIS REINTERPRETATIONS OF NICK CAVE'S MATERIAL AND BEYOND, A NEW LEVEL OF DARK, UPFRONT INTROSPECTION THAT STANDS AT THE TOP OF THE PILE, NOBODY COULD TELL A TALE LIKE THE ONE AND ONLY MAN IN BLACK . . . . YEAH, JOHNNY CASH WAS PUNK AS FUCK !!!!

This album always moves me to tears.
I just love it all darlin . . . but there's no doubt that he went out on an incredible musical highlight . . . like you, havin a cry is easily done listening to JC.

ReplyDeleteThat's pretty funny too mate, I've been humming and singing the opening stanza for the last week and a bit, and now I've got this one firmly lodged between the ears . . . and yes, definitely minimalist on the structure side off things, less is punk !!
