AND THEN THERE WERE THESE . . . . LIKE MANY OF US I'VE HAD A 'THING' FOR DUKES FOR DECADES, FROM THEIR CLASSIC DESMO SINGLES TO THE 916's . . . . SO MUCH OF THE ALLURE OF BIKES IS THE NOISE THEY GENERATE . . . . THERE IS POSSIBLY NO MORE HORN INDUCING RACKET AS A 90 DEGREE DESMO V-TWIN AT FULL TWIST . . . . THEN THERE'S THE WHOLE DRY CLUTCH CAPER AS WELL . . . . THE 'DUCATISTA' ARE A PECULIAR SPECIES, GOD LOVE EM.

THE YELLOW JIGGER IN THE PICS IS A PRETTY WICKED EXAMPLE OF THE NEW SCHOOL RETRO ROCKET, DON'T SEE TOO MANY SPORTING A 2-INTO-1 LET ALONE ALL THE SLABS OF CARBON FIBRE, BIG BUCK OHLINS BUMP REMOVER, NOT TO MENTION THE EXPOSED CLUTCH . . . . JUST TO ENSURE THE CLASSIC DUCATI RATTLE AND GRIND GETS FULL AMPLIFICATION . . . . MI AMORE, CI MAGNIFICA !!!

  1. A friend of mine had an early 860 twin that had kind of a stodgy look and colors, but he loved that thing. I've always liked the looks of the 900's from around '78. I suppose if I was rich I could get the hang of owning one of the new 'Zoot scoots'...

    1. Agree mate, the Darmah and Pantah weren't overly pretty, I always get turned on by the curves on the round case 750's and the blue and silver 900 . . . just need to pull off a bank job to afford one these days, even then for that matter.

  2. Loves me some Ducatis. The yellow one's cool, but how many poor cows had to die to make that tank bag?
Makes me hungry just thinking about it.
