THIS ARRIVED FROM THE U.S POSTAL SERVICE THE OTHER DAY, THE 'RED BARON' BY TOM DANIEL IN 1/43rd SCALE . . . . CLEAN BLOWN AWAY, THE DETAIL IS OUTSTANDING . . . . THE RUSH IT GIVES ME HOLDING IT MY HAND IS AUSGEZEICHNET, YA !!!

DeleteYou been posting like crazy man....The Red Baron...plenty cool. Got to talking with my pal Jack about wild hot rods,, car toys, all that stuff....and he flashes on a day in the 60's when he and some other guys I knew (actually before I met any of them....) were at a car show and they bought plastic German helmets from a guy name of Roth....Stan, (who is no longer with us)...pulls out an 8mm camera and proceeds to start filming. Roth sees this, and tells them to give the helmets back...and buy them again with the film rolling...he's mugging for the camera and stuff....fingers crossed, the film might still exist. It would be with Stan's cousin if it does...Jack''s gonna see if he can find her, and hopefully this piece of Roth craziness.
ReplyDeleteFuck Laz, that is literally the stuff of legend and near urban myth . . . please pursue with all extreme prejudice, there is some footage on the PooTube with the aforementioned helmet but to see some more would be a complete blowout, go hard my man.
