WHAT I SAW ON 'THE PURPLE PENIS' TODAY . . . . I SAW A DAY MOST JOYOUS, BLUE SKIES SMILIN AT ME, NOTHIN BUT BLUE SKIES DO I SEE . . . . WANTED TO TAKE MORE SHOTS BUT THE THRILL OF JUST ROLLIN IT ON WOULDN'T ALLOW ME TO PULL OVER . . . . THIS IS OUR WINTER FOLKS, A BITTERLY COLD 24 DEGREES CELCIUS AND A MILD WESTERLY HELPING OUT THE SURFING CREW . . . . JUST A TOUCH OVER THREE HUNDRED KLMS OF FUN IN THE SUN ON MY BUM.

THIS WAS ONE OF THOSE DAYS WHEN IF YOU DIDN'T RUN OUT OF GAS YOU WOULDN'T EVEN BOTHER STOPPING . . . . BLUE SKY, WARM SUN, RELATIVELY LITTLE TRAFFIC, YEAH, BRILLIANT.
About half three this arvo, this is Australia . . . . looking westward, eucalypt vapour, unique to Oz.
 Top of the mountain . . . . a very tidy '56 FE Holden . . . . Aussie's mid sized Chevy ripoff.
The Upper Coomera pub . . . . long time since the local chapter of the Finks M.C called it home.
 Aaaaah, perfect . . . . a cool treat and a lung buster . . . . well and truly appreciated.
Looking north to my beloved Sufferers Palestine . . . . a beautiful skyline, don't dig too deep though.
Burleigh Point, famous for it's perfect break . . . . home to some staunch local crew, 4220, da boys.
Late arvo, families, friends kickin back, relaxez vous wit choo . . . . the scum only come out at night.

  2. Wintertime, and the livin is greasy me old Loveymucker brother . . . Mrs B woulda been real comfy in the old Holden, not overdone, just nice, as for ye olde Mercia, I can see your point mate, just an absolute absence of any heritage in these parts, it's all been bulldozed, lots of shiny plastic and blue tint glass though . . . as much as I'd love to get over to summery Derbyshire and surrounds it likely won't happen for a couple of years, just too difficult to sync with Lizzie's schedule of growing up, so you just drop on in any time brotherman, it'd be a hoot.
