  1. One of the coolest songs ever, delivered by the electrified, psychedelic reincarnation of Robert Johnson, who when coming to the crossroads, headed neither north, south east or west, but into the macrocosmic universe.

    1. Hey Muckerlover, I'd seen the single Jimi shot before, sure it was a poster at one stage, but was just doing a bit of spontaneous research and it came up . . . yeah Timmy, the curious juxtaposition of the Nazi imagery, has had me in stitches for decades now, defo just freak out the squares material, our father's generation with memories of WWII still raw in hearts and minds . . . mum used to say stuff like 'we had a war to fight, you don't know how lucky you are', she was right I suppose . . . hope the fuzzy head's not to impairing Lovey, Bessie was the bad girl !!!

  3. Bringing back memories...my first car in 1970 was an electric yellow 1960 V-dub bug...with black pin stripe tape (with those fancy curlicue stick on accent pieces...and a red boat prop mounted on the rear bumper...between the tall beer cans slipped over the exhaust tips...and of course an 8 track player with a Jimi Hendrix 'Smash Hits' tape the only one ever in it...we wore that out.
Seen Jimi on various bikes...wonder if these were rented by the record company as props?
Still kicking myself for not making the concert he did at then then new Cal Expo...same place I see the Sac Mile at now.
See you been posting like a madman...was that an Edsel I spotted there? Gotta get my puter going this phone is too much bother for this stuff....
