SUPER STOKED, THE HARDTAIL IS ON IT'S WAY ACROSS THE PACIFIC AND I KNOW I'M GONNA BE BLOWN AWAY WHEN IT ARRIVES . . . . DOUG HAIFLEY, A MAN OF HIS WORD IN EVERY WAY, GREAT COMMUNICATION AND BANG ON PROJECTED COMPLETION TIME . . . . THANKS BUDDY.

JUST AS I'VE RAVED UP OTHER BITS I'VE PURCHASED IN THE PAST INCLUDING THE LIKES OF MULLINS CHAIN DRIVE, BCM, THROWBACK AND SPEED MERCHANT, I'LL DO IT AGAIN WITH THE HAIFLEY BROTHERS PRODUCT . . . . THEY HAVE A SERIOUS REPUTATION FOR QUALITY, THEIR WORK ALWAYS LOOKS FIRST CLASS AND, MOREOVER, THEIR CONCEPT BEHIND THE HARDTAIL KIT IS TOTALLY IN SYNC WITH MY VISION OF WHAT A RIGID HOGGLY FRAME SHOULD LOOK LIKE, IN A NUT SHELL, STOCK . . . . AND JUST LIKE THE OTHER PARTS THAT I HAD THE GUT FEELING OF EXCELLENCE ABOUT, IT'S THE SAME HERE, IF YOU TAKE YOUR TIME, DO YOUR RESEARCH, OPEN YOUR EYES TO DETAIL AND FINE POINTS, YOU CAN PICK QUALITY FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF THE PLANET.

JUST GOT THE EMAIL FROM DOUG THIS MORNING AND, TRUE TO HIS WORD OF A FEW WEEKS AGO, THE FAB WORK IS DONE, IT'S WRAPPED AND PACKED AND IN THE BELLY OF A JET HEADING OUT HERE TO ORSTRAYA . . . . I CAN'T FUCKING WAIT, AT LONG LAST, AFTER TWO LONG YEARS AND ALMOST LOSING FAITH, PROJECT SHOVELLER IS WITHIN A BEE'S DICK OF BEGINNING IN EARNEST, WOO-HOO !!!

  1. very smart dog-man, very smart indeed, liking the cast axle-plates, so much classier than just the usual 'gas-axed' items on a weld-on/bolt on item, see the bottom rails have turned stubs to weld into the original bottom rails, what's the skinny with the top run mucker?

  2. Yes lads, very excited indeed . . . the real beauty of the Haifley kit is its ability to turn the shovel frame into an almost exact replica of the preceding Pan frame, same bends in the tubes, same axle plates, same wheelbase, totally authentic. Re the top tubes Timmy, they already have the holes to enable tacking and pinning as per the original pan frame . . . every cloud has a silver lining mucker, I just got despondent when the bolt on fell through and initially these guys weren't doing a complete, fabbed up kit . . . my procrastination pays off !!!
