FOUR GLORIOUS HOURS ON THE 'SHAFT OF LOVE' AS I RODE THE TRUSTY SKIRTSTER INTO THE SUNSET . . . . THE LAST WEEK TO TEN DAYS HAS BEEN A NADIR OF INTROSPECTION AND DUD VIBES . . . . BLASTING OUT INTO THE COUNTRYSIDE WAS THE PERFECT TONIC, ALL IS GOOD.

Yep, a genuine get the fuck out town set things to rights, not an overly lengthy thrash by any means but it was big on quality and even bigger on remedial value. The darker places my mind had been delving into over the last week in particular were suddenly illuminated and then just as quickly faded into the distance of time and space . . . . I'm back to the positive headspace of anticipation and excitement as the next chapter of my life as a dog opens before me, the somewhat gloomy sense of trepidation that had been nagging at me the last seven or so days has vanished up its own arsehole and there is as much sunshine and joy in my mind as there was in the back country of my sojourn this afternoon . . . . only on two wheels is this sort of curative effect possible, yeah, forever two wheels.
