IT'S ANOTHER ONE OF THOSE FUNNY INTERNET SURFING SESSION STORIES . . . . I WENT LOOKING FOR SOME PICS OF TERRY THE TRAMP . . . . CLICKED ON ONE OF THE MANY SHOTS THAT APPEARED, BUT ONE OF SOME OTHER HURSUTE DUDE I RECOGNISED, LABELED, "LOOKS LIKE A CROSS BETWEEN TERRY THE TRAMP AND SONNY BARGER . . . ", TURNED OUT TO BE A DESCRIPTION GIVEN BY THE MAN FROM THE LAND OF THE TULIP TO DESCRIBE JASIN PHARES . . . . NOT A BAD INTRO REALLY . . . . NOR COMPARISON . . . .
At that point I gave up on the idea of Terry the Tramp, I'll get back there soon, and spent the next hour trolling through the Dutchman's photo selection on FLICKR . . . . some fucking gorgeous and fully epic photos on there I can tell you !!! Like all great photogs, his ability to combine all the disperate elements of the shot to arrive at perfect composition is freakish . . . .
The pic of Jasin I've chosen to post, [many of you will already be familiar with it], cresting a hill at speed, front wheel airborn, him, tucked in tight behind those fucking beautiful 'bars, the cityscape in the background . . . . it's simply a brilliant piece of photography . . . a nano second in time caught forever and now part of history's rich tableau . . . . leave it, come back to it, contemplate, quit, come back again . . . . the magic of the moment . . . perfect.
