ROSE TATTOO "ROCK 'N' ROLL OUTLAW" 1978 . . . . THE ORIGINAL BAND WAS A BUNCH OF HARD-ARSED, REAL DEAL MOTHERFUCKERS . . . . NOTHIN LIKE EM IN THE STATES OR THE U.K AT THE TIME . . . . THIS SHIT STILL STANDS UP MEAN AND MENACING JUST LIKE IT DID 35 YEARS AGO . . . . THEY WERE OUTLAWS, NO FUCKING DOUBT.

Stand back Gunners, step aside Iron Maiden, back to the nursery Aerosmith, only room for the Tatts in this 'ere town, with the exception of Motorhead of course, there was no harder, heavier, more hammering outfit in the world . . . . full of piss and bad manners, the original lineup, most of who are now sadly dead, took Aussie then the world by storm during '78 and '79, often cited as the loudest act in Volume Town back in the day, they drank, played and lived as the suburban bad boys they were.

Only came in direct contact with them once, and in the 'middle period', around 'Scarred for Life', by which stage the band's 'character' had diluted a bit, doing a support at Bombay Rock on the Goldy, Angry demolished the entire drink rider during sound check, tore the phone off the wall in the band room and ran riot . . . . came back an hour before they were due on stage, downed another truckload of booze, wobbled out on stage and just destroyed it, even the new younger guys in the band were clearly freaked/impressed/awestruck/horrified . . . . yeah, Rock & Roll Outlaw, fuckin oath !!!
