I'VE BEEN FUCKING AROUND FOREVER, WELL, SINCE LATE LAST YEAR, TRYIN TO DECIDE WHAT BEND/STYLE OF 'BAR I'M GOING TO RUN WITH ON PROJECT SHOVELLER, BUT TRY AS I MIGHT, THE FINAL DECISION KEPT ON ELUDING ME . . . . FINALLY, I NARROWED IT DOWN TO TWO OPTIONS BUT COULDN'T BREAK IT DOWN TO ONE CLEAR WINNER, SO I SIMPLY SAID 'SCREW IT', I'LL SAVE A BIT MORE, FOREGO SOME BOOZE DRINKIN AND GET BOTH !!!
I decided I was gonna go with Steffan's kit from Zombie Performance after some deliberation, there is a group of really talented dudes out there making brilliant handlebars but ultimately I fell under the Zombie trance . . . . I ordered a set of the 8" WTF's and one of the 6" Chupacabra, both in 1" stainless with a light brushed finish, Steff was easy as to deal with and he set to work, a couple of days later, job was done, shipping details taken care of and they were on their way, easy peasy !!!
They turned up on the doorstep yesterday and are both fucking A1 excellent, even, balanced, oozing 'hand made', showing superb welding skills, that glorious lustre that only stainless can impart and narrow enough to safely split lanes all day long . . . . once again I'm stoked with the service, the product and the dude behind it all back in the States, thanks a bundle Steffan, you've done yourself proud, now it's just a matter of getting the narrowglide front end onto the '74 FXE and seeing which ones I like the most, that could prove more difficult than the pre purchase dilemma . . . .
