"BIKER BEACH PARTY" CIRCA 1970 . . . . 'ACTUALLY, WHAT YOU'RE DOING IS WATCHING ROYALTY AT PLAY, THIS JAM SESSION AT THE BEACH IS REALLY A STATUS THING, DON'T LET IT SNAP YOUR MIND . . . . YOU'VE GOT TO GROOVE WITH THE BIKE CROWD TO KNOW WHERE IT'S REALLY AT . . . . THE EASY RIDER, THE NON-CONFORMIST, MAY BE THE NEW LIFESTYLE'.

"IT'S A DYNAMITE SCENE, LIKE, YOU KNOW?" . . . . AGAIN, HAVING BEEN KICKED IN THE MIND AFTER ANOTHER VISIT TO THE THRONE ROOM AND READING SOME MORE OF MY COPY OF THE BIKER FLICK COMPENDIUM. I WENT IN SEARCH OF THE FULL VERSION OF THE HERSCHELL GORDON LEWIS' LANDMARK/SKIDMARK, LADY BIKER LEGEND FLICK, 'SHE-DEVILS ON WHEELS', EASY PEASY NICE AND SLEAZY, FOUND IT STRAIGHT UP . . . . IT'S WHAT I FOUND ON THE TRIP THAT BLEW MY TINY MIND !!!!

This period 'documentary' short film, uploaded on PooTube by 'NEdelbach' but taken from 'Something Weird Video', has been thrown onto the beginning of the first girly biker sexploitation in reverse film ever made, by the all time King of splatter and gore, H G Lewis . . . . the main feature is a real hoot of a time capsule and certainly worth the price of admission but this slightly staged documentary short film is the jewell in the crown.

The main players, the Aliens M.C outta Jersey I think, cavorting in the sand amid their chops, their ol' ladies and their very own personal band, the voice of one of the club members is full of classic counter culture lingo of the time, oozing the basic tenets of why the biker life was for him and his bro's, and still is . . . . then there is the dulcet tones of Myron Q Straight, the narrator of this shithot piece of history, a typical square of his world, struggling to knit it all together, almost a parody, fuck, maybe it is and I've totally missed the joke . . . .

Honestly, I don't give a damn either way, there's an innocence and a level of naivete and humour that has long since gone from much of the 'outlaw' world, the spirit of Ed Roth, Rat Fink and 'Choppers' have been buried in the dust of Altamont and the mire of shitty drugs and big business . . . . this, whether it's real or really well staged, is from a time when the bikes, the brothers, the party and the ladies were their raison d'etre . . . . and I couldn't help laughing about the 'new lifestyle' remark, lot's of truth in that, it's practically fucking trademarked . . . . maybe the joke's on you too, brother.
