"HUNTING HARLEY'S 1940 KNUCKLEHEAD POLICE BIKE ORIGINAL PAINT AND DOCUMENTS" . . . . ANOTHER TIME WORN DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH FROM THE HARLEY HUNTER DUDE . . . . REMINDS ME OF 40's AND 50's BLACK AND WHITE FILMS . . . . SPED UP CHASE SEQUENCES, CORNBALL SCRIPTS AND THE GOOD GUYS ALWAYS WIN . . . . JUST LIKE REAL LIFE . . . . EEK, SORRY, WHAT THE FUCK WAS I THINKING ??

LOVIN THIS OLD BUS, SCOOT BY THE MO-CO, PATINA BY FATHER TIME, RESCUED BY THE HAPPY HARLEY HUNTER, WHAT A GIG THIS BLOKE HAS, SCREW THE AMERICAN PICKERS CREW, THEY'RE OK BUT THIS IS SUCH A TARGET SPECIFIC OPERATION . . . . I DIG ALL THE RECYCLED, REBUILT, REFURBISHED, EVEN RE-PATINA-ED, BIKES GETTING AROUND, THAT BEING SAID HOWEVER, I'VE ALWAYS HAD A BUG UP MY ARSE WHEN IT COMES TO UNRESTORED, ORIGINAL PAINT, OIL STAINED, LOVE AND USE WORN BIKES AND CARS . . . . HELL, GUITARS, BYCICLES, WATCHES, TOOLS, CAMERAS, ANYTHING THAT SHOWS THE MARKS AND PATINA OF WHAT IT WAS DESIGNED FOR . . . . BEING UTILISED TO PERFORM THAT SAME TASK, TIME AND TIME AND TIME AGAIN.

This fabulous old 1940 EL exhibits all those characters by the bucketload, oozing way more cool than oil and obviously in darn good nick given its venerable age and history, love the off white paint too, pretty sure as a new bike it wasn't hard white, please correct me if I'm wrong . . . . gotta say, I'm also a real fan of Todd, the Dude doin all the footwork in the pursuit of buying all these old tubs, probably many of you in the States know the guy, to me, he's just this manically possessed hunter of all things old and born in Milwaukee and I reckon it's a really noble cause . . . . I'd love to think someone would buy it and leave it as is, sadly, that's highly unlikely . . . . unless it ends up in the hands of Mr Knucklebuster.
P.S . . . . Lovey, you gots to attempt to dissuade old Sweary Mick from messing with the tank at least, the way it is now has to be preserved, those decals alone are absolute gold, to lose them for the sake of some nice new ones would almost be sacrilegious . . . . I know you hold the same opinion but give it a serious old crack before resigning yourself to the 'instructions from on high' . . . . love ya brotherman dude.
