"UNION PACIFIC 'BIG BOY' COLLECTION" [PENTREXVIDEOS] . . . . I DON'T KNOW ABOUT ALL OF YOU MY AGE, BUT I WAS A HUGE STEAM AND DIESEL LOCOMOTIVE FREAK AS A KID . . . . IT REMAINS IN YOUR VEINS FOR LIFE . . . . HAVING CHECKED OUT THE LATEST POST ON 'ANCHOR' THIS MORNING, I WAS REMINDED OF MY FAVE LOCO EVER . . . . THE MASSIVE, SUPER STRENGTH, ULTRA COOL "BIG BOY" SERIES.

There has never been a more powerful, super duty steam locomotive built than these spectacularly massive rigs built in the US from the early forties, faster maybe, stronger and more bulletproof, never ever . . . . they were so fucking huge new lazy Susan turnaround thingies had to be constructed to accommodate their physical mass . . . . designed to haul the biggest loads ever pulled by rail anywhere in the world, across the the plains then the mountains in the west of the States, they were perfect for the intended task but never produced in huge numbers and saw their heyday during the war years and immediately thereafter.

Just seeing this footage sends shivers up the spinal chord and sets the hairs on the ballsac standing to attention, I've only ever seen photos of them in a couple of my books on trains and my uncle had a really cool model of one, to see them actually doing their intended haul arse job is awesome . . . . like Anchorman said, if you have any feeling for how things used to be, and like any form of cool machinery, then you should enjoy this journey into bigness of the past . . . . the legit 'Big Boy' shit, this ain't no gangsta rap . . . . tooooot, tooooooooot !!!
